China Xiantiandi Wins Social Media Marketing at Best Practice Awards 2015

On October 20th, 2015, China Xintiandi won the Social Media Marketing Award presented by Best Practice Management for the social media campaign of “KISSMAS in Shanghai Xintiandi” in 2014. This campaign was initiated by Shanghai Xintiandi, which is a flagship project of China Xintiandi. Best Practice Management is a Hong Kong-based organization who gives awards to those successful organizations with potential to change people’s commercial and daily life.
In 2014, Shanghai Xintiandi launched social media platform which fully leveraged the online and offline resources and finally drove a large number of participants and attracted public attention. During the campaign, the tag of #Kiss the Moment# on Weibo reaped over 28,000,000 views, followed by approximate 600,000 mentions. The Weibo account of Shanghai Xintiandi received 157 new followers every day on average and the new fans totaled 7,784. Out of all the participants of “KISSMAS in Shanghai Xintiandi”, 1,120 couples registered through Wechat and 5,000 users started to follow the Wechat account of Shanghai Xintiandi during the campaign. Shanghai Xintiandi had an average daily traffic of 19,000 visitors in December, an increase of 77% over that of last year.
