China Xintiandi Illustrates and “The Great Andersen” Exhibition in Three Projects in Shanghai
On June 1, the “The Great Andersen” Exhibition kicked off at Shanghai Xintiandi, THE HUB Shopping Center and Ruihong Tiandi The Hall of Stars. Audience will be able to experience Andersen’s fairyland owing to the VR technology, holographic laser projection and virtual dressing room. These exhibitions not only fulfill the children’s dream for fairy tales but also awaken adults’ childhood memory.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nicolai Prytz, Consul General of Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai, said that Andersen and his fairy tales are the national treasure of Denmark. He hoped that the exhibition would grant the audience a genuine taste of the world of fairy tales. Hostess of a children program “Sister Swallow” told fairy tales to the children at Hubindao. Creative painter Hua Shenxian taught children drawing at THE HUB.

It is the first time that the exhibition has been held simultaneously in three projects of China Xintiandi in Shanghai. Providing free shuttle buses, the exhibition allows audience to appreciate the exhibitions within one day for a complete experience of Andersen’s wonderland.
