Shanghai Xintiandi RENAISSANCE 100 Exhibition
From July 1-31, an exhibition co-hosted by Shanghai Xintiandi and China Life Magazine displayed the most cherished possessions of 100 prominent artists. The organizers invited artists from 20 different professional areas to share the objects and memories that they value the most. The first batch of 30+ pieces was displayed from July 1 to July 31, and featured belongings of more than twenty renowned Chinese artists such as Zhangke Jia, Shu Wang, Yansong Ma, Liping Yang and Bing Xu.
As a famous Shanghai landmark of culture and fashion, Shanghai Xintiandi has created with this exhibition a public space filled with cultural and artistic atmosphere where representative persons from different fields share their precious memories with city residents. The exhibition furthermore integrates China's contemporary art scene and imprints of the gifts of life.
